Board member & head of SV HelloWorld
Leslie Scherbeijn is a second year student in the ICT program. Coming straight from an economic
education in high school he decided he wanted to explore the business options withing the world of IT. With this study he hopes he can one day implement his love for IT in businesses worldwide.

His drive to help people and an interest in learning how to manage teams in IT is why he decided to become head of Hello World. This way he hopes he can be a positive drive to improve the experience for students cross the study.

Outside of academics, Leslie enjoys hanging out with friends. He has been skiing since he was 4 years old and picked up snowboarding last year. He loves taking pictures with friends at the beautiful shoreline Zeeland has to offer.

Bestuurslid & voorzitter SV HelloWorld
Leslie Scherbeijn is een tweedejaars student op de opleiding HBO-ICT. Recht na een afgerond
economisch vakkenpakket op de middelbare school heeft hij besloten dat hij de zakelijke kant binnen de ICT sector wilde ontdekken. Met deze opleiding hoopt hij zijn liefde voor ICT te kunnen implementeren in bedrijven wereldwijd.

Zijn drive om mensen te helpen en een interesse in team-management binnen ICT is waarom hij
besloten heeft om voorzitter te worden van Hello World. Op deze manier hoopt hij een positieve
factor te zijn voor studenten binnen de opleiding HBO-ICT.

Buiten de opleiding houdt Leslie ervan om af te spreken met vrienden. Hij skiet sinds zijn vierde en
vorig jaar is hij begonnen met snowboarden. Leslie houdt ervan om foto’s te maken met vrienden
aan de prachtige kustlijn die Zeeland te bieden heeft.

Secretary & Board member for Activity Committee
Angélique is a second year student in the ICT program. After
graduating mbo International Business, she decided to make a
change and switch tracks. With this study she hopes to improve
technical knowledge to eventually combine this with cognitive
science.

The satisfaction of organising fun, yet informative events for others
is why she decided to join Hello World. With the work experience
she has, having a secretary duty works perfectly.

Outside of academics, Angélique loves making others happy with
homemade food, has a passion for literature and photography,
and plays the bass guitar. Owning over 50 plants, you could also
say she lives in a jungle.

Secretaris & Bestuurslid Activiteitencommissie
Angélique is een tweedejaars student op de opleiding HBO-ICT. Na het afronden
van mbo International Business besloot ze om van traject te wisselen. Met deze
studie hoopt ze haar technische kennis te verbeteren om deze uiteindelijk te
combineren met cognitieve wetenschap.

De voldoening uit het organiseren van leuke, maar informatieve evenementen
voor anderen is de reden waarom ze besloot lid te worden van Hello World. Met
de werkervaring die ze heeft, werkt de secretaris positie ideaal.

Buiten academici houdt Angélique ervan anderen blij te maken met zelfgemaakt
eten, heeft ze een passie voor literatuur en fotografie en speelt ze basgitaar. Met
meer dan 50 planten zou je ook kunnen zeggen dat ze in een jungle leeft.

Treasurer & Board member for Media Committee
Noël is a fourth year student studying HBO-ICT at the HZ University of Applied Sciences. He’s
currently studying to become a Software Engineer on a level where he can pursue the craft as a
career.

The creativity of the Media Commission spoke to him the most, helping to organize projects based
on social media and the website of the study association. Besides that he also enjoys the logical
aspect of managing the funds of the association as the head Treasurer.

Outside of academics, Noël enjoys hanging out and playing games with friends. Besides that he also enjoys snowboarding, although he’s honestly not very good at it.

Penningmeester & Bestuurslid Mediacommissie
Noël is een vierdejaars student op de opleiding HBO-ICT aan de HZ. Hij studeert om een volledig
Software Engineer te worden op het niveau waarbij hij zijn passie kan inzetten als carrière.

De creativiteit van de Mediacommissie spreekt hem het meest aan, hij helpt met het organiseren
van projecten gebaseerd op de sociale media en website van de studievereniging. Hiernaast vind hij het logische aspect leuk van het beheren van de monetaire onderdelen van de vereniging als Penningmeester.

Buiten academici houdt Noël ervan om met vrienden te chillen en games te spelen, hiernaast vindt
hij het leuk om te snowboarden, hoewel hij daar niet heel goed in is.

Member of the Activity Committee & Board member for the Promotional Committee
Gianni Meesters is a second-year IT student at Hogeschool Zeeland. Started after just finishing higher general secondary education with a profile centered around nature, health, and tech, having no IT experience.

Having follow the course “exercise sports and society” and getting a lot experience in organising thru it as well as a natural talent for leading and working with people, his role as an activity organiser and as a Promotional Committee board member fit his skill set incredibly. The goal he wants to accomplish in his roles is to make everybody enjoy their time they spent with Hello World, as well as the rest of the study.

Outside of academics, Gianni can be found in the fitness center almost every evening. In the weekend you can find him going out with friends, or on the go-kart track beating his friends to the finish line. If you ever need someone to join you in a sim-race, you can always ask him to join in.

Activiteiten & Bestuurslid promotiecommissie
Gianni Meesters is een tweedejaars student HBO-ICT op Hogeschool Zeeland. Afkomstig van de havo met een NG & NT profiel, zonder enige ervaring rondom ICT.

Vanuit het vak BSM veel ervaring in organisatie en de aanleg voor leiding geven en met groepen bezig zijn, valt bestuur van promotiecommissie en organiseren van activiteiten precies in zijn skill set. Hiermee hoopt hij vooral een positieve ervaring weg te zetten voor iedereen.

Buiten school houdt Gianni van sporten en met vrienden afspreken. ’s Avonds is hij vaak te vinden in de sportschool. In het weekend is hij vaak te vinden in de stad of op de kartbaan, aan het winnen van zijn vrienden. Ook kan je hem zeker uitnodigen voor een wedstrijdje sim-racen.
