December, a month full of joy and happiness. This year’s holidays will different, but we have activities planned to keep the spirit up!
Secret Santa: 7-25 December
Spreading joy through the spirit of giving and receiving happiness. We are inviting everyone (students, teachers, and alumni) to participate.
Not everyone will be able to spend the holidays with their loved ones, especially with the covid conditions in the Netherlands. Let’s bring our ICT community together instead, to shine a little light during this period.
Secret Santa is an online exchange (inspired from a similar event on RedditGifts), where we can all surprise each other with thoughtful gifts. You will be matched with a Santa and a giftee. Your Santa (a secret to you!) will send you a gift based on a questionnaire filled out by you, and your giftee will be the person that’s receiving the gift you send them. That covers the basics of it, but head over to our news post to read the details.
Registering can be done until December 7th.
Christmas Decorations: 14-18 December @ Groene Woud
We will be decorating the 3rd and 4th floor at Groene Woud in the last week before the Holiday break. Feel free to hang your own ornaments and enjoy the merry snacks.
Movie night: 15 December 20.00 @ Teams
1.0 ITP
Join us for another movie night on Teams. We’ll be watching the Christmas special of Black Mirror: White Christmas. Three interconnected tales of technology run amok during the Christmas season are told by two men at a remote outpost in a frozen wilderness.
Ugly Sweaters Day: 17 December
Put on your ugliest Christmas sweater! Whether you find a hidden gem to wear, or you make your own, we expect you to be dressed… ugly. You can vote for your favourite dressed teacher & student. The winners will be announced the next day, during the Christmas drinks on Teams.
Christmas Drinks & Games: 18 December 16.00 @ Teams
Finally, the last day. Start your holiday break with a relaxing afternoon of drinks & games on Teams. We’re also announcing the winners of the ugly sweater day.
